Lāčplēsis Day (Latvian: Lāčplēša Diena) is celebrated on November 11. On this date, Latvians commemorate not the end of World War I in 1918 (as in many other countries), but the victory over theBermontians at the battle of Riga the following year.
Due to this Tru Fix Kru already for the fourth year hosts an event called Tour de Torch. The aim is to honour those Latvian soldiers who gave their lives for our country and for us to live free. The least we can do is to go for a united bike ride with lit torches in our hands and stay quiet for a moment and think about where we come from and who we really are.
